GALSEQ was created by a group scientists with long experience in the NGS field. GalSeq main goal is to deliver standard and customized state-of-the-art NGS services at competitive prices. A proprietary, state-of-the-art bioinformatic pipeline allows us to deliver in a timely fashion easy-to-understand results to our customers. Luca Mologni co-founder
is a molecular biologist with long-standing experience in molecular oncology. He is an expert in drug discovery and in the development of targeted therapies for personalised medicine.
Rocco Piazza co-founder
Is a Hematologist and Co-Founder of GalSeq. He has a strong background in NGS bioinformatics and molecular biology. RP developed several NGS tools such as FusionAnalyser and CEQer that are routinely used in NGS labs of many countries around the world, e.g. in Canada, US, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Poland, China, Japan, India, Australia. He played a critical role in the identification and characterization of new oncogenes, such as SETBP1 and ETNK1.
Alessandra Pirola co-founder
Is a biologist with extensive experience in the field of NGS sequencing. Since 2009 she has been in charge of library preparation and run setup using Illumina technology. In Galseq she is responsible for sequencing, library preparation, and sample delivery.
